Burbank School District 111 will have three school board seats to be filled at the April 6, 2027 Consolidated Election. Candidates who are elected will fill four-year terms expiring in April 2031. Candidates for the office of school board can begin to circulate nominating petitions beginning August 25. The period for candidate filing is November 16 - 23. Attention BSD111 Families: Our Title I Informational Meeting will be held as an open forum on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Burbank School Cafeteria. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn more about our ISBE Title I Grant, how these funds support our schools, and the impact they have on meeting the academic needs of our students. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are excited to announce that District 111 will be using TalkingPoints to communicate with parents and guardians.  TalkingPoints is a two-way multilingual family engagement platform helping teachers and school leadership stay connected with families via text message.  Next week, you will receive a message from your child’s school regarding TalkingPoints.

AM and PM Bus Routes have been posted for our Elementary Schools and for Liberty Junior High School. Eligible students should have also received route information via email. A student is eligible for transportation if the student resides 1.5 miles or more from his/her assigned school or must cross a street determined to be a hazardous crossing.
